The Hillview City of Stars Dance is Friday, February 2nd from 6:00pm-8:00pm! Come celebrate a night in Hollywood on the red carpet at this can’t miss Hillview Middle School dance. All 7th and 8th grade Hillview students are welcome to attend where they can enjoy dancing, games, a photo booth, and delicious concessions courtesy of the music department. All proceeds from concessions will benefit the Hillview Music department Disneyland trip. Thanks for your support!

Ticket Sales:
A discounted ticket pre-sale is going on all spirit week at lunch in the student store. $5 for ASB Card Holders and $7 for Non-ASB Card Holders. Tickets will also be on sale at the door at the regular price of $8 for all students.
Chaperones will be fully aware of all the rules listed below and have the authority to enforce them.
Rules and Expectations at the Dance:
Cell Phone Use: While cell phones are allowed at our dances, they are not permitted to be used on the dance floor inside the PA, outside in the concession area, or in the bathrooms.This means no texting, gaming, phone calls, or photography with your cell phones. Approved Yearbook photographers with badges will be using DSLRs to photograph the event. Cell phone use is allowed in the game room and the PAC Lobby only, but we ask that students keep their technology use to a minimum and use it primarily to communicate with parents before and after the dance. Thank you for helping us communicate this expectation to your children.
How to Dress? Students may dress casual or semi-formal. Most students dress comfortably. As this is a Hillview event, all handbook rules apply including the Dress for Success norms. As a reminder, this includes being covered from the top of your chest to mid-thigh with no undergarments showing.
Bring Student ID: Only Hillview 7th and 8th graders may attend. Students from other schools are not allowed, nor is entering or exiting through any entrance other than the main entrance. To help us enforce this, all students are required to bring their Student ID/ASB Card to the dance. If you have lost your student ID/ASB Card, please see Mrs. Fichou in the student store or consider printing out a PowerSchool schedule to bring with you.
No Food or Drink Inside: Food and drink will be sold outside in the concession/kitchen area, but no food or drink is allowed inside the PAC, PAC Lobby, or game room. All food and drink must stay outside.
Arriving late and leaving early? Students can arrive on their own as long as they show up by 6:30pm. After 6:30pm, students must have a parent accompany them to the main entrance - the PAC lobby. If a student wishes to leave prior to 8:00pm, a parent must meet them in the PAC Lobby to tag out with a chaperone. There are no exceptions to this rule. Please be prompt to get picked up at 8:00pm so that our chaperones can go home to their families. Thank you!
